Last weekend i went to visit Dad and one of his horses. He is going on a long ride soon: 2 years- all the way down to Melbourne somewhere. Here are some pictures. I took a friend with me- shannon to do some sight seeing on the way. Check out the leech mmmm. You get used to them living out bush though.

Cyclone- passes Cairns

Wow, we had a bit of a blast from the cyclone passing by. You could hear the wind howling in the morning, and trees were bending over everywhere. We were lucky to live in an area where the powerlines are underground, but there still was some damage in some areas. Here are some photos of our front yard, our driveway, the highway, and some other places around town.

This is me before my big fight in Makay. An audience of about 800 people, waiting, shouting, gazing in expectation around the ring. The adrenaline, watching my opponent get motivated by his coach. Getting psyched up. Man it was awesome, I will never forget, and i often use these expereiences to explain other challenges in life.
